Kathryn Suzanne Honold and John Christopher Hardy were married August 12, 2006, at Saint Mary's of the Lake Church in Skaneateles. Officiating the Roman Catholic Wedding Mass were the Rev. Charles Vavonese, cousin of the bride, and the Revs. J. Robert Yeazel, Fred Mannara and John Schopfer.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. David and Suzanne S. Honold, of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of the late Angela and Joseph J. Sindoni, formerly of Syracuse, and the late Lucille and Francis J. Honold, formerly of Syracuse. The groom is the son of Mr. David and Ellen Hardy, of Syracuse. He is the grandson of the late Bernice and Charles Costa, formerly of Jacksonville, Ill., and the late Kathleen and Carl Hardy, formerly of Albany.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents.

Matron of honor was Melissa Honold, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Anne Ascioti, Megan Battle, Mary Giesen, Kristen Guendjoian, Erin McInerney, Claire Sedgwick and Katie Sullivan, friends of the bride; Cara Hardy, sister of the groom; and Christine Vickers, godmother and cousin of the bride. Daniel Hardy and Matthew Hardy, brothers of the groom, were best men. Groomsmen were David Honold Jr. and Robert Honold, brothers of the bride, and Jonathan Noel, Garth Priber, Bryan Sacco and Andrew Schaffler, friends of the groom. Wedding soloist was Christine Vickers. Benjamin Barrett, friend of the bride, was altar server.

A reception was held at Skaneateles Country Club. The couple honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii.
The bride and groom are 1999 graduates of Christian Brothers Academy. The bride received a B.A. in social science from Providence College in 2003 and a master's degree in counseling from Syracuse University in 2005. She is currently working on a master's degree in special education and is a special education teacher and counselor at the Marchus School in Concord, Calif. The groom earned a B.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University in 2003. He is a research analyst at American Technology Research in San Francisco.
The couple resides in San Francisco.
