The appointment is effective May 15.

Mr. Vogel is a 27-year veteran of the paper industry and brings extensive senior level experience from the manufacturing, distribution and converting sides of business. From 1980 to 2002, he worked for the Mead Corporation, where he held a variety of positions, including serving as president of Mead's Zellerbach and Gilbert Paper divisions. Mr. Vogel also held a number of corporate positions during his tenure at Mead, with responsibilities for directly overseeing corporate communications, government affairs and corporate financial functions. In 2002, he became the acting CFO of MeadWestvaco (formerly Mead Corporation) with primary responsibility for financial reporting and oversight for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

In 2005 Mr. Vogel was named CEO and President of Newpage, a $2.5 billion paper manufacturing and distribution company, where he was responsible for the creation of a new independent company in collaboration with private equity owners. He is currently serving as Executive VP and CFO for Cleveland, OH based The Millcraft Group, a large regional paper distributor and converter.

Mr. Vogel has held Board of Director positions with Fox River Paper (recently acquired by Neenah Paper); Dayton Development Coalition; and Miami Valley Venture Funds. He received his MBA at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY and a BS, Industrial Labor Relations, also from Cornell. He and his family live in Dayton, Ohio.
