HEADLINE: ROBERT C. WILSON, of TOMS RIVER

BODY:

ROBERT C. WILSON, of TOMS RIVER, formerly of Silver Lake, Staten Island, died Saturday, April 28. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Harvey Wilson. He was a retired supervisor who worked for Con Edison for 40 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 3. He was a graduate of St. Peter's High School. He served in the Army during World War II. He held certificates from Cornell University in labor-management relations. His hobbies included sports, gardening and repairing cars.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Wilson Jr. of Norwalk, Conn., and William Wilson of Staten Island; and two daughters, Sister Patricia Wilson, Sisters of Charity of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Kathleen Buxton of Toms River; two sisters, Agnes Rodin and Dorothy Grimaldi, both of Staten Island; and seven grandchildren.

Viewing hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave., Staten Island. The funeral will be at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Staten Island. In lieu of flowers, donations to the New York Firefighters Burn Center, 21 Asch Loop, Bronx, NY 10475, would be appreciated.
