CB Richard Ellis announced that Gregg Popkin, senior managing director of the firm's Asset Services group in the New York Tri-State Region, was not only honored with the Victory Award by Friends of St. Dominic's at the organization's 2007 Awards Dinner, but helped raise a record $1.2 million on behalf of St. Dominic's Home.

The Dinner honors distinguished individuals who, through their generosity, have made a difference in the lives of the less fortunate inour society.

"Having been honored by Outreach Project last year and now earningSt. Dominic's Home's Victory Award, Gregg continues to demonstrate that he is an exceptional leader in the community," said Mitchell E. Rudin, president of CB Richard Ellis' New York Tri-State Region.

"His willingness to donate his time and generosity to those in need sets an example for us all."

In addition to his relationship with St. Dominic's, Popkin is alsoinvolved in several other high-profile philanthropic and charitable endeavors.

Popkin is responsible for CBRE's entire 44 million-sq.-ft. Tri-State portfolio with a market value in excess of $12 billion.

An industry leader, Popkin sits on the Board of Directors of both the Real Estate Board of New York and the Realty Advisory Board, is aprincipal of BOMA of New York, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. Popkin has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations; and a Master's in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia.
