HEADLINE: Best practices

BODY:
Susanne Bruyere, with Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations Employment and Disability Institute, said research has found that employees with disabilities such as musculoskeletal conditions, multiple sclerosis, psychiatric disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries can benefit greatly from flexibilities including:
- Periodic rest breaks.
- Worker rotation.
- Flexible work schedules that take advantage of their most productive times.
- Part-time work or job sharing.
- Flexible break times, rather than scheduled ones.
- The opportunity to work from home when symptoms are severe.
