Another bruise, but the fight to unionize continues

Kate Bronfenbrenner says: Perhaps it is not surprising the usual powerful forces on the corporate right, including the Koch brothers and the Walton family, are out to do everything they can to undermine the rights of public sector workers to organize and bargain. Monday's decision opens the door for allowing more employers to try to turn back the clock to 40 years ago, when the court had the wisdom to make the rules for public sector union dues collection. Unions need to be able to collect dues or agency fees from all members of the bargaining unit because under the law unions must provide fair representation to everyone, both members and nonmembers.
