City of Kent names new employee services director

Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke announced March 16 that Lorraine Patterson has accepted an offer to become the city’s new employee services director.

A Kent resident, Patterson earned her Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School, Stanford, California. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. Patterson is a certified senior professional in human resources and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
