* Ayanna L. Hughey of Elmira, a 1999 graduate of Corning Community College, has been named to CCC's regional board of trustees.

Hughey is a graduate student at Cornell University's School of Industrial & Labor Relations. She has an associate's degree in liberal arts from CCC.

{}Company board

* F.M. Howell & Co. in Elmira has announced the election of Keith D. Baumann to vice president of the company's board of directors.

Baumann has a bachelor's degree in operations research/accounting from Binghamton University. He serves on boards of the Sullivan Trail Chapter of the American Red Cross, Chemung-Schuyler-Steuben Workforce New York and the Elmira Empire Zone Administrative Board.

{}New hires

* Kathy Stein has been named Elmira branch manager for Visions Federal Credit Union. Stein joins Visions with more than 14 years of banking experience at Chemung Canal Trust Co.

* Ron Gerould of Canton has been named director of St. Joseph's Hospital's Materials Management Department. He will be responsible for the purchasing, print shop, laundry, and storage, processing and distribution departments at the Elmira hospital.

Gerould returns to St. Joseph's after three years as contracts manager for three years at Creative Orthotics and Prosthetics in Elmira. He had also been materials manager at Guthrie Corning Hospital the past three years, and prior to joining Creative Orthotics and Prosthetics, was purchasing manager at St. Joseph's for more than 10 years.
